BAE Systems Support Wreaths Across America San Diego 2015 BAE Systems (San Diego Ship Repair) employees return to place wreaths at Fort Rosecrans on December 12, 2015.

Lynnard DeLaPaz and Jane Purvis recruited nearly 200 people to volunteer this year.

Hitachi Data Systems

Hitachi Data Systems at Wreaths Across America San Diego 2014 EventHitachi Data Systems employees and their families participated in the 2014 Wreaths Across America event in San Diego. They will participate again in December 2015, and once more have granted funds from the Community Action Committee to purchase over 200 wreaths. WAA San Diego thanks HDS for their support and participation in this very fulfilling Community Service Event.

Hitachi presents check to WAA San Diego Employees of Hitachi Vantara Stephen Simmons and Kristi Ly presented a $2,000 plus check to Tim Campion (center) Volunteer Coordinator of Wreaths Across America in San Diego. This is the FIFTH consecutive year that HDS San Diego employees have participated with their families. They participate at Miramar and Fort Rosecrans this year (2018). This donation is part of the Community Action Committee to encourage employee involvement in community events.

WAA San Diego Volunteer Tim Campion Honored for his Service

May 2018 - At the Annual Wreaths Across America (WAA) recognition event at Fort Myers, Virginia, home of the UA Army Old Guard attached to Arlington National Cemetery, Tim Campion was honored as a veteran for his US Navy service during the Vietnam War and awarded a Veterans Pin from Major General James Jackson US Army (ret).

Tim has actively supported WAA bringing wreaths to San Diego via corporate sponsors for over 10 years.

Major General James Jackson US Army (ret) Director of the United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration program with the Department of Defense presents Tim Campion with a Vietnam Veteran. The Commemorative program is meant to Welcome Home all Veterans who served during that war and did not get the type of recognition they deserved many years ago. Some WAA events in San Diego participate in this commemorative at their ceremonies.
